Motifs and ornamentation used during both the Art Deco (short for Arts Décoratifs) and Art Nouveau ("New Art") periods are featured throughout our New Deco collection.
Art Nouveau (1890-1910) can be characterized by its flowing, curvilinear influences from nature - including floral motifs and vines. Art Deco is more geometric with a focus on circular & angular form - particularly during the 1920s to 1930s.
