This is a lovely vintage Middle Eastern ring made of silver and with a domed face from which sits a small red glass cabochon in a raised bezel. The band is wide and has open work. The dome is worked in repousse. It's a lovely ring in good condition.  From the Persian Gulf area with obvious Turkmen influence.

The face measures 2 cm (3/4") in diameter and rises about 1.2 cm (1/2"). It is a size 9 at its middle. The shank measures 1.4 cm (5/8") wide. It weighs 10.5 g.
